At the class, Howard (from Series 4 of The Great British Bake Off) will show you the skills to master delicious gluten-free pastry. You will learn how to make his hugely popular, melt-in-the-mouth sweet shortcrust, which you'll transform into a brilliant batch of Bakewell tarts - fruity, almondy and decorated to your fancy. Then you'll go savoury with a perfectly crisp, shallot-strewn choux - a real mouthful of cheesy peasiness!
The day starts with teas, coffees and pastries, before you'll put on your apron and watch Howard demonstrate all the skills required to make these indulgent treats. You'll spend around 2 hours baking and beautifully decorating your masterpieces, before tucking in to the fruits of your labour, whilst hearing stories about Howard's time on TV! Your ticket also includes a glass of prosecco; soft drinks and snacks whilst baking; boxes to take away your bake; and a washer-upper!
