It might only be January but Easter is fast approaching (and this year it is earlier than normal) and most supermarkets already have a full aisle of Easter Eggs in store despite Valentines Day and Mothers Day happening before Easter!

As a chocoholic though, I am not complaining! I just want to know what is gluten free and safe for me to eat this year. Last year seemed quite sparse with the eggs but there is actually quite a lot of regular eggs and treats which are gluten free this year as well as being A LOT of free from options around too. If you are only gluten free, generally there are plenty of options outside the Free From ones that are safe so no need to stick to those in the Free From aisle, but if you are dairy free too then these will pretty much be your choices as they are designed to be gluten and dairy free (often just labelled as Vegan too, depending on brand)

Most of the regulars that are gluten free are in there, remember to watch out for pesky may contains as I have noticed a few that were fine last year now have the warning, but there is still plenty of choice from the favourite mini eggs and creme eggs to KitKat Bunnies and even Baileys eggs! Please note that mini egg bar is not safe, it was a couple of years ago but since 2023 has had a may contain warning, same with Smarties Mini Eggs
