Even at age 33, I still love having an advent calendar, but which ones are gluten free? Considering the amount available there are still a fair amount that are safe for Coeliacs however some you might think are gluten free because the regular chocolates are, aren't when it comes to the advent calendars. This is usually because they are made in different factories.
I have put together all the ones I can find that are gluten free this year, there are a fair few dairy free chocolate ones floating about too.
Further down you will also find all the Christmas chocolates which are gluten free and safe for Coeliacs. I have only included those which do not contain gluten and also have no may contain warning on them either. I have only included the chocs you see around Christmas and special Christmas chocolatey things, normal everyday chocolate bars are on a separate blog (please note I haven't updated it in a while so some may have changed on there)
No Malteasers are NOT gluten free before anyone asks! And YES Heroes are gluten free as long as you don't have the Dinky Deckers. Cadburys have confirmed all the other chocs in the box are safe...unlike Celebrations where NONE of the chocolate are safe in the box even the ones that are usually safe in bars - this is due to all of the chocs being produced on the same line.
Not a huge range of gluten free advent calendars around but there doesn't seem a huge variety of advent calendars in general! Here are the ones I have seen which are gluten free.

Every year I get the question are Celebrations, Heroes, Quality Streets and Roses gluten free the answer....well No to Celebrations NONE are safe, Heroes - all except Dinky Decker, Cadbury confirmed we could still eat all the rest as they are done on separate lines, Quality Streets and Roses are both fine.
