Teff is an ancient grain which is naturally gluten free, it is very popular in African cultures and very under rated elsewhere in the world. Teff has quite a rich almost nutty aroma and flakes make a fabulous porridge, if you can't tolerate oats this may be an alternative for you. Don't expect big flake as teff is the smallest grain in the world, meaning the flakes are tiny too! With the subtle sweetness of maple and some added peanut butter this is a delicious breakfast.
